Khululeka meaning [Freedom] is an International Anthem for Aids but the emotion and inspiration provoked by this eclectic collaboration transcends a single cause with the potential to embrace the world.

‘Khululeka [Freedom]’ featuring the regal voice of Archbishop Desmond Tutu launches in December 2008 and will move you to join – One Big Difference , One World Record with One Million Downloads.

The iconic humanitarian, Nobel peace prize winner Archbishop Desmond Tutu in the true spirit of Ubuntu delivers an incredible one take recording session with a co-production between the legendary Joe Arthur / Victor Masondo and James Stewart.

James Stewart co writer whose song got it all started, sent the original ‘chord progression and melody’ to his friend in New York , 11-time Emmy Award winner AJ Gundell, AJ sat up and listened. ‘Sounds like Gold to me,’ he said, and passed it on to Grammy Award winner Julie ‘From a distance’ Gold for some lyrics. And back to Gundell for a ‘middle bit’ and some ‘arrangement tweaks’. Between them, the Internet and a hot Cape Town/Manhattan line, they quickly had the makings of a very special song.
